During World War II, car factories were shifted within a week to war production. As the war continued, nearly 20 million Americans planted "Victory Gardens".
Shift happens.
That we are capable of amazing feats and able to make bold changes is not in question. The question is, what direction do we want to be swimming in? Making war over increasingly scarce resources? Or planting seeds of sustenance and sustainability? What legacy do we want to leave?
The Sustainability Symposium provides us an opportunity to answer these questions with real collective strategies to affect Sacramento's impact on the Earth. We can envision Sacramento as a sustainable city and collaborate on ways to help bring us towards that. More details....
